Just enough to wait for 1.0 release
MethanoVicky
both will stop there or be black
Martin

You would need kvm for native/good speeds but that wont happen on android devices as of locked access to EL2 by fw ( on most devices )
Martin
So better get laptop/desktop to emulate arm64 on x86_64 or etc
Chungy
you can use KVM on Android, but with an arm64 processor, it'll never help in running an x86 OS. :p

You can if its enabled and supported by the oem ( otherwise no even if you recompile kernel with kvm support )
Martin
Only way would be maybe a pKVM ( that google year or few years back introduced to run in 5.x kernels with android 13? ) - gna stop now as its off topic prolly here
DOGON
hello every body do you know about frugal install method?
DOGON
i wanted to try reactos x64 bit livecd to boot my machine ga-m61mpe-s2 motherboard but ramboot and normal boot not worked.
DOGON
But maybe i can succes frugal install method and changed some files modifications maybe work.
DOGON
i had an subject at forum but i didnt understand completely
DOGON
Once copied it's time to edit freeldr.ini to adapt it to the Frugal environment, this consists in removing the switch /MININT from boot options, and adding an ARC path to SystemPath parameter, this must be accurate with the partition where our Frugal installation resides, i.e. multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\reactos
DOGON
these blog i didnt understand completely
DOGON
what does that mean. I couldnt find at internet. maybe someone can know. but this is fault my machine but where?
amelia
Tensor too
MethanoVicky
/MININT — This option is used by Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE) and loads the Registry SYSTEM hive as a volatile hive such that changes made to it in memory are not saved back to the hive image.[9]
MethanoVicky
got it
matt
can I format an hard drive as iso 9660 rock ridge on windows 8.1?
amelia
But why?
MethanoVicky
but floppy fat12 is also available on hdd
MethanoVicky
so maybe ok?
matt
my reason for doing so was to use a common format for all my drives but I think that I may be considering other options such as SMB, NFS or iCSI for sharing files on a network (USB hard drives still remain the most convenient format for me at the moment for storing data, but I will probably soon change the formatting for something else entirelly once I get my personal stuff in order)
amelia
You can use fat everywhere
matt
yes but no, not a perfect solution to a complex situation like mine
Momade
You can use fat everywhere
Even on bread, cakes, biscuits...
Momade
You can use fat everywhere
That's why I'd go with FAT, for eg if I had KolibriOS and AROS, both could read FAT (even tho they can also read NTFS at this point)
