btw, why does reactos report 1 less mb ram? ok, windows ignores the 1st megabyte, but on system properties it correctly reports the size (ie it would be 512 mb, not 511)

Yes, the guy's handle is x512 and he is altogether removing the X11 layer translating directly into the BeAPI so that Wine on Haiku won't use X11 at all

upgraded to 95, still on 4MB RAM and a 486 DX2 50MHz

I got a Pentium 120MHz after that and started that one with 16MB of RAM

I opted to not upgrade to 98. I did not like it. I stuck with 95 until Windows 2000 came out

NEC v20 (8088 clone, 10 MHz but with some hw tweaks), 640 kB ram, 20 mb HD, 512 kB Hercules graphic card. Then, presario 7460, one of the shittiest computers ever produced by humanity.
