vscode? emacs? vim?,Does python support it

Tested extensively

Not if your cpu is not so fast, like would be a qemu vm
Julio
Take in account I tested a qemu vm over an ARM v7 processor
Julio
Is slow as hell
Julio
And even there, SciTE was faster than our notepad
Julio
Enough fast to give it a practical purpose

I used it to code in FreeBasic for my CMS project

Really old VS, maybe. VIM sure. Python until the last XP compatible.
Chungy
I think Python dropped pre-Vista compatibility a few versions back
Chungy
I remember having to go back to 3.4 or something to get it to work on ReactOS

Initial Haiku port of Wine ... Look at ReactOS' calc and media player working ...
Momade
robo8008135: > :(
(sorry, bad joke on my part)
Momade
Where can I get it?
I would advise you to get ReactOS instead
Momade
Haiku is much more stable on real HW right now than ReactOS, true. But the Wine port is still in it's early stages, probably available at X512's GitHub repo (also uses 'X547' as his handle)

I think a Windows driver for haiku file system could help in the long term, but it would be a difficult task 😔

I don't understand how that would help, but there is already a BFS viewer for Windows (compiles with VS2010, should work on ReactOS) on GitHub. However, Wine on Haiku uses /boot/home as Z: (if that's what you meant) [I'm not 100% sure of it tho]

It could help by allowing Windows or reactos to access data in haiku partition, in case of dual boot or disaster recovery. Knowing that you can always access data on haiku partition even if you don't start from it IMHO it would be a plus and would make some users happier to try dualboot

For disaster recovery, a bfs tool has been developed. To copy your files from Haiku to Windows/ReactOS, you could use the BFSViewer. However, you must note that the extended attributes of your files would be lost, even tho NTFS supports extended attributes (I think). Further, I think that now that Paragon has merged their NTFS driver to mainline Linux kernel, the same NTFS driver could be used on ReactOS instead of NTFS-3G. I mean, ideally MS could release their NTFS implementation as open-source but idk how likely that is
Mike
Ms releasing something??? Nope!!!
Mike
And even if they did idk if reactos could use it, it depends on the license
