Aside from not including any wallpapers in the nightly images, are there any other things that are not included comparing to the release images? Nightly images are much smaller than 0.4.13.

Has anyone managed to virtualize the 64bit version in VirtualBox?
I think I have tried all the options on their menu but without any progress. Even with version 0.4.14-dev-1529 which is the last one as of today from Livecd instead of bootcd.
With both, a black screen appears right after indicating at the bottom "loading boot drivers ...."

It's probably my malfunctioning disk drives, and I doubt it being the OS itself. The only info I really can provide is that the system is a Gateway GP7-550, 256MB RAM, a 80GB HDD, an Nvidia Riva Tnt2 GPU, and a CD and DVD drive. It never made past the installation stage since it would freak out during install.

that's a pretty low-spec machine. If you tried one of the heavy DEs it might make sense being so slow

Slax gave me some hope for a decently modern distro, but I haven't fully tested it yet. (I'm still copying files from my USB to the disk)
