Yes, this is insane. I always told them, just allow all users to propagate their extensions connected to Joomla! even they are commercial. It is only benefit for Joomla! If people see the possibility of Joomla! and their extensions including professional commercial extensions, all win - the Joomla! project, developers, end users/customers ... I never understood the hate of some core J! members against commercial extensions 😞 .. and yes, they behave very bad, they will dictate you that you cannot make profit from your work but then when they make commercial service, they have the audacity to use Joomla's channels to make them visible - this is called hypocrisy 😞

I also noticed the latest articles gets almost zero comments. people even do not want to comment. either there is a strict moderation or number of reading is too small

Nobody is interested, they try to make a lot of PR articles to somehow save Joomla!, it is just try, even I should do interview in march or next month ... but people don't want to read about "nice community", etc, they want the functional product

I use https://squoosh.app/ to convert the images and you should check it out. судя по всему, он просто руками сконвертил через сервис картинки и залил их. получается, что оригинальный jpg не используется. а это правильно?

You can use directly webp in img tag or you can add all versions to picture tag (because of safari, etc.) <picture> <source type="image/webp"> /> <img ... standard img - fallback to old browsers /> </picture> So at the end you will end with code like this (using in Phoca Cart) and you ask yourself if it is really worth to use webp instead of jpg 😊
