One of the sites suggests a tutorial, where be opengl 3.0. Okay, I will try starting with Vulkan, thanks
But what knowledge I need to have for learning graphical API? I have read Prata C++ and nothing else

Ah, okay, I have read on something site that I must have some knowledge about computer graphics. And there even is a book of the 2014 years, it's great. But there [site about vulkan] talks about RAII and initializer lists, and I don't know about it, oh. I will be googling now

Install OpenBSD in a VM.. you get 100% pure llvm tool chain out of the box, besides they desgined clang with their own safety managements

Their clang throws warnings everywhere xD

you CAN NOT teach someone programming through lectures
But in colleges and universities somehow trying to do it. I don't know how but they do it (Maybe they give to students text's materials, not know, I don't study in university)
BinaryByter
yep
BinaryByter
thats why I absolutely DESPISE schools

and university

and university
UC is awesome :) They teach developing an Operating System by instructing how syscalls works with visual graphs using dtrace
BinaryByter
thats maybe 6% of an operating system
BinaryByter
But i like how you are proud of your university ;)
Anonymous
thats not what an operating system is
I am talking about only syscalls...
BinaryByter
Well okay
BinaryByter
but like
MᏫᎻᎯᎷᎷᎬᎠ
When Windows 11 release?
BinaryByter
still syscalls are kinda easy
V
Universities suck, okay. And why people go there? Because of the diploma and certificate about finishing some courses there?
BinaryByter
yep
BinaryByter
I mean most people NEED University if they don't want to end up totally stupid

still syscalls are kinda easy

yo guys except India, could big companies hire you with a lot of xp but without, for example, a degree?
BinaryByter
probably
BinaryByter
according to signaling theory yes
MᏫᎻᎯᎷᎷᎬᎠ
the best university is experience
You won't have it without a headstart
V
I mean most people NEED University if they don't want to end up totally stupid
It relates only to programming? Now I'm studying in radio tech faculty and some knowledge hardly get at home
Dima
Degree matters here in UK xD
so if I have really like a ton of xp but no degree they won’t hire you
Dima
?
Anonymous
so if I have really like a ton of xp but no degree they won’t hire you
If you can beat those with deg, then they will hire you
Anonymous
It's all about "Can you do it better than others?"
BinaryByter
according to signaling theory, they will rather take someone with good references than someone with a degree
Dima
I am currently working for a really nice company and stuff, but I am a student and I have only low college degree, I am going for higher degree but I am not sure if I would ever need it with my exp lol
Dima
#ot that’s kinda but anyways
MᏫᎻᎯᎷᎷᎬᎠ
Google don't need a degree to hire someone
MᏫᎻᎯᎷᎷᎬᎠ
thats a myth
Like you said EXPERIENCE
BinaryByter
yes
BinaryByter
but only with references
Anonymous
Google don't need a degree to hire someone
I don't want to work for google in general.. unless it profits open source projects
V
If you've experience is 5+ years, you don't need something degree, I think. Some people get to experience in a small company and in the future go to the corporation
