I advise use of MUMPS for a programming language in this case
Ritu Raj
Ritu Raj
Can't we initialise from negative values?
BinaryByter
why not?
Ritu Raj
Why it is not printing statement written in printf(); 6 times?!... For -1,0,1,2,3,4
BinaryByter
because it always breaks or continues
olli
either you continue before reaching the printf statement or you break and stop the loop
Ritu Raj
either you continue before reaching the printf statement or you break and stop the loop
I got it...... Does it means if we use continue; then it will again jump to loop instead of going the statements written after continue?

yes, basically you execute the third part of the for loop and check the condition again in the next stateemt

Like is it really necessary for me to be better in C Or should I just stick to the basics
BinaryByter
what?
Anonymous
Like is C really that relevant
BinaryByter
depends on what you are going to do
BinaryByter
i'd say no
Anonymous
Like I only learnt C cause I think it makes understanding other languages easier
Julian
It's not really relevant. If you need something small with maximum performance I would say go with C or c++ if you need OOP functionality. Something bigger... Always c++ or another high level language that is easier to understand. Depending on memory access necessity you can choose whether to use c++ or something like python, Java or even go.
Julian
Also your pick if you want an interpreted or compiled language

I want to learn to code in c++. The only programming experience I have is Excel. How hard will it be to learn by myself?
