BinaryByter
sorry i don't have
alright, then learn debugging
BinaryByter
for real: debugging is something very important for you to learn
Manoj
alright, then learn debugging
yes afcourse😂😂
Manoj
but plz do it last time😂
Ariana
Try to debug yourself first
Ariana
There are debuggers to help
Manoj
i tried by 6hours😂
Ariana
1) locate the error 2) step line by line around it, if something looks wrong 3) find out why its wrong 4) fix it
Manoj
i found the error and correct it. but still shows same😂
Manoj
ERROR
Mihail
#howtoask
Manoj

Manoj
ERROR
it not shows error but not working accordingly
Mihail
well just saying it doesn't work doesn't give us any info, so like don't expect help
Mihail

Arvind
So all my valuable spam messages are purged. Is there no worth of worthless messages at all?
Arvind
I pity this world
Arvind
Hey @MissRose_bot what would you take to not purge a human's messages?
Arvind
That's my girl. Rose.

what does the _ mean ?

lol
Anonymous
what does the _ mean ?
It's a convention used by libintl a.k.a. gettext, for translatable strings. When it runs, gettext function (which _ is aliased to) will return either original or translated string, depending on locale settings and availability of said string. Found on stack overflow

Pls I need someone to put me through c++ I'm a beginner and I have windows I'm new here.

Don't know anything about programming

in dynamic memory allocation, how delete know how much to deallocate in c++
Mark
by dynamic memory alloc you mean what exactly?
BinaryByter
and that type has always the same size
BinaryByter
wait
BinaryByter
stop
BinaryByter
free doesn't take a size argument
Mark
it doesn't
BinaryByter
exactly
BinaryByter
wait
BinaryByter
second try:
BinaryByter
wait no
BinaryByter
nvm
Anonymous
we can't pass any thing to delete
BinaryByter
@QNeko you are the one who implements memory paging
Mark
"memory management" are those two magic words :)
Mihail
And here people we can see brain fuck in action
BinaryByter
xD
Mark
when you call malloc(), you're getting an allocated memory area
Mark
somebody keeps track of those allocations
Mihail
*answer* Wait Stop Wait Second try: Wait No Nvm
Mark
somebody keeps track of those allocations
and next time you'll do free(ptr), that "somebody" deals with actually freeing the memory
Mark
whether memory gets actually freed to system, is all up to C library implementation
Mark
or whatever you use to allocate memory
Mark
we can't pass any thing to delete
yes, you can't pass anything to delete
Mihail
whether memory gets actually freed to system, is all up to C library implementation
Well delete calls platform/OS specific stuff that actually does the freeing I think
Mark
yeah
Mark
memory management in your code isn't *that* hard either
