You need a kickass networking book, lots of RAM to run and test exploits in VMs, need to study lots of algorithms, create low level stuufs with low level things, learn new technologies, python+asm integrations, DSL+inline asm, system admins, knowledge about internals of all major OSes, including Linux, BSDs etc
