If it weren't for all the bloat and telemetry, it could probably be a decent os

You mean linux, then
Well you got me there
A. R.
Now that I think about it, that was a dumb statement lol
A. R.
Guess I meant to say internal corporate/enterprise/business infrastructure
A. R.
That's not 90% either tho Just spare me the humility on this one idk what I was thinking lol

Let's hate the product 90% of the world's infrastructure runs on
Infra is not really where windows does anything. End users use Windows. Also most end users actually use Android/Linux
Ludovic 'Archivist'
Linux is around 45% of all devices, Windows is around 30%
Thomas

Can’t be almost everyone I know uses windows
A. R.

Yeah, you're right. I guess I phrased that REALLY poorly, I meant businesses that still use Windows server and such things as the backend to most of their intranet communications
Elena
Linux is around 45% of all devices, Windows is around 30%
30% is too high if you account for mobile devices. iOS and Android (Linux) would have a major share of end user OS. Desktops and Laptops will be a very small number compared to mobile devices
Elena
A family of 5 these days would have a minimum of 5 mobile devices and 1 or 2 laptops at the most. Most of them won't even own a laptop
Tokin
I suppose the desktop share of windows would be around 90% then
Tokin
With Linux percentage share not more than 1%
Tokin
Oh nvm it’s 72.52% of windows share
Tokin
And Linux share is 4.05%
Tokin
I suppose the majority of universities and the students within have been a considerable chunk of the user base lately
Ludovic 'Archivist'

Not that small a proportion apparently. Also offices, most working adults working in an office will have a windows computer at work
Ludovic 'Archivist'
Not to mention engineers with field work probably having both a windows workstation and laptop

C# - its like a custom Java )
I hate to admit it, but C# is clearly a better Java than the original

Why hate tho
Ludovic 'Archivist'
performance wise ?
Performance is on par, design is better in many ways, license for usage is better, distribution is very good, lots of good tools. Such a shame it was made by MS
Tokin
Dislike MS?
Ludovic 'Archivist'
Dislike MS?
Well, they tend to be assholes even when you spend good money on they stuff so yeah
Tokin
I feel they still did way better, considering no competition

Good day! Perhaps someone here understands the construction of NFA regex (1|2|е)(2(1)*2)*2(121)*without epsilon. I need help with constructing(1|2|epsilon) because I was told that there cannot be ternary operators and I can't figure out how to do it in a non-ternary way. Because I still need to write a program for recognizing chains, and I still can't build the machine itself. I can giv olso my solution but it's a img.I will be grateful for your help

Try ( (1|2)(2(1)*2)*2(121)* | (2(1)*2)*2(121)*) )

Try ( (1|2)(2(1)*2)*2(121)* | (2(1)*2)*2(121)*) )
Sorry, what to try? According to the regular expression that I gave, I need to compile the automaton accordingly, all the chains that will be asked must be checked by it. Therefore, I cannot change the regular expression in any way. I have a problem with the fact that I cannot connect (1|2|epsilon) with another part that is already ready without using ternary opposition
Гулящий
I just rephrased it so that you don't have to use ternary

Oh, I'm sory, ok I try this. Thanks a lot!

Actually, I misplaced a bracket. ( (1|2)(2(1)*2)*2(121)*) | ((2(1)*2)*2(121)*)

How can I install gcc 13.2.0 in linux mint 21?
there is ppa https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-toolchain-r/+archive/ubuntu/ppa - nevermind that has only gcc12 or gcc14, otherwise you can always compile it yourself

Hi, i have some doubt, if some line of code is there like exp[i] ==(string) NULL is the same as '\0' or its representing anything different in C, can someone clarify this please ?
Shruthi
NULL usually represents null pointer, it's imho bad practice to use it as null byte to end char*
Ok, I am also a little confused why they have string before a null what's the significance

What kind of projects do you want to build. I am not interested in solving problems though.

It’s a guess but he’d be more inclined to get into competitive coding thingy since univ student

So temporary problems and not projects
