so remember that blockchain repo I was so stoked to use? well, my plan was to use it on arduino, but it has WAY too many dependcies and in generel guzzles a lot of memory. I'm planning to contruct a lighter version (which can be done, btw) and using big one as a reference. that do you guys think about this approach?

I mean, an easy way to do this would be to simply take only the files I need from it while also eliminating the dependcies... I'm a little pressed for time so that might be a good option

I'd suggest not to "reinvent the wheel" if possible - if you have found a library or have already code that satisfies your needs, then (re-)use it. If not either change or rewrite it

That's what I'm thinking - I actually may eventually rewrite it, simply because I think it could a lot more effiecent. for the sake of the time I have though, resuing some of their code I think makes a lot of sense
