First of all your code logic doesn't seem right As far as your problem about the code not printing anything, it is because it is going in an infinite loop. Your while loop will terminate only when tf is false and you set tf to false only when 'A', 'T', 'C' or 'G' is not present in the DNA strand. Even god can't help you here
