ehh i say exploit for backdoors and shellcode and reverse shell etc
klimi

You're the first one "hacker" that I have seen who uses codeblocks

Codeblocks is most certainly not best, have you actually tried any other editors/IDEs?
klimi
you mean im stupid
I haven't said that at all, actually I think pretty high of you if you know python c and c++
Anonymous
What are you going to suggest? I hope not M$ware
And what's wrong with VS? That it is actually usable?
Janko Ⓥ

Visual Studio is proprietary garbage
So why do you use Telegram? It's proprietary too
Anonymous
> garbage Any decent arguments?
Janko Ⓥ
Not really, the client is free, that's why I can use it on musl libc. Even rms would argue that server-side is irrelevant as even with the source you wouldn't be able to validate that that's the code which is used
Dark
Why codeblocks why not Visual Studio with WinDebug and for Liunx Atom is good I have heard
Janko Ⓥ
> garbage Any decent arguments?
There is no reason to pick it
Dark
Anonymous
There is no reason to pick it
There's no reason to pick CodeBlocks It's outdated piece of crap that have unintuitive user interface and doesn't work from the box
Dark
You have to install the compile your self in windows unless you download the GCC version
Dark
But I can say that windebug is impressive for one makes me stop putting "printf(" I am here");"
Anonymous
If you call VS something bad again with no reason provided (!), you'll get a warn I'm not a VS fan, I just don't like people that spreading their prejudice with no valid arguments
Dark
Dark
Its the same but completely open source
Anonymous
Dark
No it's not Learn what VS and VS Code are It's totally different things
I mean its the same without the Compile is a text editor that the same as VS code
Dark
Visual Studio community or professional edition is big like have you ever click on a json file and it opens VS and you have to wait so you can close it
Anonymous
It's not for that
Dark
Why on Earth would you open a JSON file with an IDE
No I mean to open it with a text editor but it opens VS instead
Dark
And well..... The wait is all I am going to say
Anonymous
No I mean to open it with a text editor but it opens VS instead
There's always Right-click -> open with VSCode
Dark
There's always Right-click -> open with VSCode
Yea I know I forgot that and double clicked it
Dark
FML it a pain. I need to change the default file extension that open VS
Dark
Guess I need to edit the registry

Well what do you think of Wincrypt and the new one I think is call CNG?
Dark
I don't code for windows
Ow fair I guess you use openssl then for encryption
Anonymous
Ow fair I guess you use openssl then for encryption
Well I don't use encryption I'm unemployed right now and my very possible future job project doesn't need encryption
Dark
Well I don't use encryption I'm unemployed right now and my very possible future job project doesn't need encryption
Well you should learn how to tho. Encryption is an important part of secure software development
Dark
Not every software needs encryption
Yes I get that. I guess it depends on what your making but if you are sending data you want to encrypt that data
Dark
Not every software needs encryption
Will didn't ask you this but what IDE do you use on Liunx then? Because Liunx uses gcc and g++
Anonymous
There's also great (probably better than VS) CLion

Qt Creator is good

Qt Creator is good

I know but QT creatior makes me thing of it
No, it doesn't It can be used (and used a lot) for non-Qt C++ development
da
How about kdevelop
Dark
No, it doesn't It can be used (and used a lot) for non-Qt C++ development
No I understand that its good for C++ but it makes me thing of ow god no QWord xD
Anonymous
How about kdevelop
I haven't tried it Heard it's ok
Dark
Just put a Q in front of most words and its probably in that library
da
😁.
Dark
One thing I have to say is well you inject a DLL file using LoadLibraryA. How does that add the DLL file to the process
Dark
Because do you add it the the import headers and load it in allocated memory. I am just not sure how that works
Janko Ⓥ
Janko Ⓥ
I write C in Vim and compile it with pedantic ISO C99 gcc flags
Janko Ⓥ
There's no reason to pick CodeBlocks It's outdated piece of crap that have unintuitive user interface and doesn't work from the box
Warning me would be hypocritical as you have no reason to trash Code::Blocks either? It's not outdated, it is maintained. The interface being intuitive isn't important as you should learn to use it through a manual either way — Visual Studio has a million pieces as well, intuition is useless in this scope. I haven't used Code::Blocks in a while, you might be right that it doesn't work out of the box, but installing only the compilers you want will take just a minute.
