I watched a CS class that a university put on youtube, and all a CS degree seems to do is tell you how to think / problem solve, and how to program. Then you just do assignmemts by yourself.

There a TON of really good books to learn from. I really like the (programming language) notes for professionals pdf, it is a in depth handy guide
