Competitive programming doesn't make you a good programmer. Most probably you are shitty coder that doesn't know how to write production ready, C++ idiomatic and just maintainable code.

I was saying for practice it is good. 😓. CP enhances your problem-solving and debugging skills. Also intensifies analytical and rational thinking. Must remove warns no intention of giving bad advice

He/she asked how to learn C++, not how to learn algorithms. Competitive programming has nothing common with learning C++ The discussion is over

Ohh @XavierW Competitive programming is little bit good for problem solving Not something specific for C++ Mostly you'll solve problems with so basic language features Even your program will look similar as if it was coded by another Language (eg: Java)

You just don't have enough knowledge about CS It's okay If you're smart enough, sooner or later you will understand how CS works, but not right now

Mastering a programing language is easy
If you think that, either (A) You know nothing about the language or (B) you are programming HTML

Yep, that's how std::map::operator[] works
does that work the same for unordered_map?
🔥 Hillary
does that work the same for unordered_map?
Yep, and multimap too. To complete your task you need first to check presence of the key and only if its exist operate with associated value

Also just ask your questions to everyone here not a specific group of people. Just because they were able to help you better before it does not mean the others here can't
