Hello, I've got two classes, Parent and Child, which are like so: class Parent { Child* child; void parentFunc (); }; class Child { void childFunc (); }; How can I have child->childFunc be able to call parentFunc in the instance of Parent with the pointer to Child? Should I pass a pointer to parentFunc when calling childFunc for it to call? And how would I do this? Parent knows the implementation of Child but not vice versa.

If you think about it, names are in fact in 1D Array. The data structure maybe char**, but the 1st dimension will be used as string. If you were storing them as std::string, then you will have a 1D array for names :)
