Could someone explain about abstact classes concept. I know it promotes inheritance. But does it promote in binding and hiding, that is inheritance?

Thank you. Abstract classes do promote inheritance. Still not sure about its relationship with encapsulation and polymorphism. Abstract classes can be extended to derived classes (atleast one virtual function), so that it mean AC promotes polymorphism too

i am trying to take a user input , and test a string against the strings saved in the 2 dimensional array created
Anonymous
Ask the user for the text she’s looking for. Loop through all of the track names. If a track name contains the search text, display the track name.
Anonymous
this is the actual instructions
C.
Okay, and where is your problem?
Anonymous
Okay, and where is your problem?
once the program recieves the user input, it passes it to the function i created, but it ends there , it doesn’t work with the for loop i created
Anonymous
the for loop is suppose to loop through ever string in the track array declared globally , then i use strstr() to test if the string inputed by the user is apart of any of the strings in the track array. from there its suppose to print out a message in the console if it finds any matching string
C.
ok
