What if user don't want to read data from a file just want to copy the data ecrypt it and then paste the encrypted text back.. You know users can be dumb. 😆
Punish3r
well done!
Savage. 😆
BinaryByter
why use fgets that has many safeguards for files when you can just use something that automatically knows that its gonna read from stdin?
BinaryByter

Hi, I have a question. I'm more or less a beginner in C++. I'm currently writing a C++ program and I've encountered a problem. My initial idea was to write a function that takes a null pointer as an argument and gives it an address (it's an initialization function). I hoped that I would then be able to use that pointer outside of the function, without having to return the pointer. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. Now I'm wondering, why didn't my method work? Are pointers immutable? Or does setting its address inside a function somehow not reflect outside of the function? What can I do to achieve my goal?
Mat
You're giving a variable to a function. It will copy the variable inside that function giving to it a local scope

You put a ';'
MᏫᎻᎯᎷᎷᎬᎠ
With an infinity loop
MᏫᎻᎯᎷᎷᎬᎠ
