but why? unpess its the e10less version but givibg a browser the ram it wants to cache speeds it up by quite a bit and allows it to give up that ram of not needed

Can still be zsh underneath the htop. Never thought I'd have a conversation with a database software by the way.

You think?
It should only be activated when I load a page to check for an e existing HTTPS version — it should idle when I'm just reading a site.
Nah that wasn't the point of my message. I wanted to highlight that it was using a lot of CPU, not that it used a number larger than 100.

Some hours
Usually with Opera or Nemo opened as well. Sometimes LibreOffice - Firefox - Nemo.
I use more Opera because of the sync bookmarks feature.

Opera is proprietary. You may want to reconsider using it.

Most people use the browser a *lot*. It's already known that some proprietary browsers send metadata to their developers. You might wanna reconsider trusting a proprietary program that you use 90% of the time you're using your PC.

Webpages are already compressed. Only thing compressed here are images
you can just disable them if they are taking too much bandwidth

I don't care if they invented or not. I'm unemployed, I pay the little Internet I have when I don't go to library. Nor you or any other of you "freedom defenders" will pay.
That's silly
Compare in a phone how fast it runs out of Internet.

Most of Web browsers just use too much
And besides, Firefox is too heavy
On the phone I mean
On desktop it's fine

Try lightning browser. It's lightweight and uses libraries that are already on your system

No, it's not. But I can listen my music while I'm writing, something I can't with Firefox or UC browser for the case.
I'd love to try that one indeed.

You cannot sync your bookmarks because this browser is very basic, that's why it's so small. It has material design, tabs, adblock, settings that affect the browser engine that is already in your phone
