Did you get something with KDE 4.6 on Arch?
I can remember akonadi eating a lot of ressources, some glitches with the Nvidia drivers( I had a gtx 280) and more than one reinstalling because of needed packages being removed when uninstalling applications

i've been using opera for a while in fedora, it works fine
I'm using vivaldi. I like how they store cache. But opera has battery saving mode.. Will try it later

not always true. Some phones don't use sim cards. They get your position from the cell tower triangulation

I know how to get to my job. I use the GPS to get realtime data along the way; things like a blocked traffic lane and alternate routes with less traffic
