Agree. I created a wifi hotspot, now when I enable the wifi connection it always enable the hotspot instead of searching for the available networks, which sucks, because I have to open the GUI, disable wifi, click stop hotspot and finally wifi works. The good thing is now I learned nmcli and nmtui

Well, I can say by experience, that VPNs doesn't connect in Fedora if you don't add proper rules to the firewalld

In some point just disabled the firewalld and then start the VPN

I can recommend that test, if it works (as you said it connects but is disconnected inmediatly) then you need to find the proper rule to set in the firewalld

Opnvpn doesnt need any rules back to the client aside conntrack

and everything in the world has conntrack.

Only the Server needs to - and we can assume that is taken care of.
