I don't know where this "2 in 1" thing came from, but they should be labelled tablets, that's what they are

Yum purge pacakgename
Or yum remove *package name or anything related to the name* for example package name is RioAsnara then yum remove *Rio* so everything contains of *xxxxRioxxxxx* will be removed ?

Without encryption login passwords are useless anyway
Can be easily changed by booting from a USB drive or something

You enter the decryption password and then it logins automatically

Kohane

11:00:04
So, it's the same, it's like having a login screen.

But apparently he is in a hurry and wants the system to boot very fast and login without disturbance. Or so I understood from his messages.

Boot
Luks pw - $pass1
Lockscreen Password - $pass2
Adds like 10 seconds overhead for a massive Security Boost
Heck you could reduce it mire by getting a 5$ otp usb device that authenticates you on your login screen

Tobias?

11:07:15
Still kind of enough Security but it will unlock the second this device is in and lock when its disconnected

When I need it, I make the screen lock automatically after boot, so I don't have to wait these precious 2 seconds or so for my desktop to load ? but usually I don't care

it's just that I don't have to enter it during login
since I need to provide my luks password anyway earlier, I've disabled that in login manager
downside of that is that gnome keyring will not get unlocked during login, so I have to unlock it by myself the first time I will be using it

Eduard
10.05.2017
13:06:57
Why are you puting yum|dnf?
Use dnf alone

Rio

13:07:18
I got it from the internet

Eduard
10.05.2017
13:08:02
Ok, that's wrong. Use dnf -y install
The meaning of that was: Use dnf or yum
Not to paste the command literally

Rio
10.05.2017
13:08:55
Usually i use yum

Eduard
10.05.2017
13:09:12
You shouldn't ;)
Your yum command is being translated to dnf anyway

Read the line where it says: yum has been deprecated use dnf instead (yum2dnf)
