It's much more fun to make everything by yourself though.
I think you won't be dissapointed by Jekyll. It's basically a markdown + templates compiler with some bells and whistles, you won't find it lacking in terms of hackability

It isn't about being disapointed though, but if you depoly a solution on your hardware or even write it from scratch, it is, by default, a positive thing for a CV, isn't it? :)

Jekyll is open source, so when you'll reach a ceiling in what GitHub allows, you can always fork it, set up your own CI that would make the builds and you're on your own ?

Gwindor

Even that. :)

you're quick to start, and you're as non-limited and non-locked-down as you can be

IMHO ?

so you can start with Jekyll and then work on your own static generator

Well, I think that I might be the only person in my city using Fedora at all and one of very few using Linux daily and widely.

But I am an egoist, blog is as well a good thing to add to CV.

also, it may be stupid, but I kinda like the gossip-like, immature feel of blogs like omgubuntu, even if it's not the most reliable source of information, it makes the whole ecosystem look really exciting

So I took Jekyll

Until I have time to actually make my own, Jekyll will serve me well :)

Hi, I would suggest to describe your problem and wait for an answer, but keep in mind that it's possible that nobody will be able to provide it - if anyone knows, then I'm sure will be happy to provide it :)

It's a channel that the community promote

It's not owned or hosted in fedora infrastructure, so it can't be called official, but we set rules for behavior to keep the communication flowing correctly between their members

And for we, I'm talking about creator and administrators of the channel, also for the contributors that share this channel with all people who wants to know about Fedora, Linux and FLOSS in general
