1070 ain't cheap as well.

Its more value per $ than a 1080 and considerably out performs a 1060 and everything AMD so its justified a bit :)

But look at your card. It doesn't have a grill at PCI slot, only solid plank and sockets.

And counting very small amount of space between the cover and a fan...

It basically is going to pull air from nowhere.

Cutting hole is a good thing. But I'd also reversed the fan.
