You didnt need to, in case you haven't reinstalled it yet: boot-repair-disk.

Nope, i never used edge scrolling - doesnt wayland update input methods too? Maybe you just need to find whatever config file is now used

Since Fedora is constantly updated, pretty stable, features "devassistant" that downloads and setups a ton of different development environments and has most needed development packages available from the start - Fedora. And with Fedora Gnome (heavily recommend to always use the default DE of a distro) using < 1G Ram after Boot its incredibly light too.

You may want to install Rpmfusion tough and may have to manually setup things like apache vhosts if you're a php-er or install pip/python via comand line if you need those. Atom -recommend- is available as rpm straight from atom.io

why do you HEAVILY RECOMMEND people to use the default DE of a distro? one of the nice things about gnu/linux is that you aren't restricted to only using one DE, so why tell people not to take advantage of that?

Because most of the Development, Testing and Error Fixing will be done for the User by the Distro maintainers - and those mainly maintain the Default DE.

Under Arch it may work because everyone submits fixes for everything but with Fedora most of the Work goes into Gnome and the Rest of the Work is a little on the Side to offer KDE/SOAS/XFCE/whatevs

Specific Example: A Laptop that can drive three Monitors via Nvidia+igpu but one of them can only be rendered by the igpu will reproducibly crash KDE after a few minutes with different Errors every time - Gnome works flawlessly.
