to work comfortably using a regular keyboard and two displays ;)
Regular keyboards are rather annoying. Too big. The two displays are fancy but I tend to focus in one thing and forget everything else, so they're not very useful.

I don't like mice, I prefer the touchpad. I find it far more convenient for precision work in paintings and photos. Making artistic stuff with a mouse is like drawing with a potato.

Yes, beacause there's virtually zero reason from a consumer and a manafacturers perspective to go otherwise on such a high value lapotp

You either need to go for a really high end mobile GPU Which didn't really exist in 2013/2014 without murdering your laptop's size and weight and battery

Barrel

Found the card model. My Dell Latitude has the following graphic specs: NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M - 256 MB, Core: 580 MHz, Memory: 702 MHz, GDDR3, 7.15.11.7607 (Forceware 176.07)

Or you get a GPU That's criminally underpowered and doing the exact same things.
Okay. But my Nvidia laptop is not Thinkpad, it's Dell. And works awesomely.

Except that with a lot of laptop stuff it's intentionally misleading from the manafacturer to make you think you're getting something better when you're paying more for something worse in literally EVERY Single way

On almost every laptop with a low-end to mid-range dGPU You're getting something with worse graphics performance, more heat and battery draw and losing features

Well, it doesn't matter to me today 12 years later. And if it wasn't for the weight that would be daily computer. Yes, the keyboard is annoying and sort but I can survive that. The graphics are awesome and that's what matters to me. Besides the screen resolution is ❤️

I'm not arguing over this. I'm arguing over @Wolfshappen random advise. He almost commanded "Get one without Nvidia". Well, ask first. Maybe that person is not interested in docking stuff but prefers a better card. Or maybe not. Or maybe he or she doesn't give a damn about any of the two options.

Then explain it!

My point is give the reasons why you're advising something.

As you did @TheGamingBarrel

Just saying "do this" might be misleading. So instead of commanding something, say "if you use your computer in (whatever) is better to opt for this.", or "I would prefer this option, because of (reasons)". So the OP has it clear and can decide on his or her own.

Except in situations where there is literally zero reason to do a certain thing, if there is zero benefit to doing something that costs more then why explain it unless they're actually curious, almost everyone will ask "why?" and then you explain

Kohane

Most people won't ask why if they're told to do something with enough authority.
