jflory7: @Ali_Jaber96: Not the Ultimate version for free, unless you're a student. The Community Edition can be installed free, though.

I think this question not related to Fedora directly. You need to obtain a key for Ultimate Edition and install it as any other JetBrains product. But make sure first that you have JDK installed in your system (just JRE isn’t enough!). You can choose between OpenJdk (open-source) or Oracle (proprietary), to check JDK installation run javac -version If everything is OK you must see something like this ➜ ~ javac -version javac 1.8.0_102

So, by “as any other“ I mean this approach: Download archive with Idea and extract it (for example in /opt), after that cd to that folder and run idea.sh from /bin subdirectory, final command looks like this /opt/idea-…/bin/idea.sh After first configuration you can click to settings —> Create Desktop Shortcut. This will create a .desktop file, after that you can start Idea directly from applications menu without using a terminal.

@downey From the official site: Starting from IntelliJ IDEA 16 and the most recent versions of the lightweight IDEs, we are bundling custom JRE with Linux distributions, just like we've been doing for Mac. Our custom JRE is based on OpenJDK and includes the most up to date fixes to provide better user experience on Linux (like font rendering improvements and HiDPI support). So, JetBrains only provide JRE which contains fixes for fonts rendering, but not contains JDK https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206544879-Selecting-the-JDK-version-the-IDE-will-run-under

Because Krita 3 finally looses its performance problems and handles even big Documents fine - and im entertaining to drop gimp for it

I think what having @TeledoraBot here is somelike sad. If you need something open-source with modern groups, we could support matrix.org instead.

The bridge wasn't created out of an ethical dilemma, it was added for convenience. I'm not opposed to other things or solutions, but this was easiest for me since it's already something I've seen used.

It seems like a lot of people feel that way, so we could submit a PR for it upstream. I'm not an expert at Node but should be able to try to figure something out. It would be nice to have as an option in the bot

What are you trying to do with it? If you don't need something specifically added in 1.12 - I'd go with Fedora's version

I don't track all docker changes, but the big thing, I think is swarmkit and bundled swarm. Unless you need those, I'd stay away - I have read about some stability issues and you don't want to face that on a school project. This is my opinion, no one else's

250 GB should suffice, I guess.

Does it have a M.2 slot?
