True. It was a bit funny because above the link @jflory wrote: "Please don't post URLs without explanation that are unrelated to Fedora. Thanks." And this maybe got me :D Didn't want to offend anyone ^^

Acording to: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26925/Linux-Processor-Microcode-Data-File Fedora 24 worked on it, so I see no reason why Fedora 26 shouldn't

you don't have to install anything of it. When I saw it correct that are compiler specs

You dont need to do anything at all.

dmesg | grep micro

Fedora will package and ship updated microcode in the next kernel versions.

Well, there are some maintainers of Arch community repository. They collect the best and the most popular AUR packages and maintain them.

For me, too, but there are several issues. 1) A lot of 404. 2) Sometimes you need to fix PKGBUILD. 3) Uh oh, always read all install scripts.

VC321xb47@aperture:~#

even making a comment on the packages helps the maintainers fix them, you don't even need to touch the code

(in fact, do Coprs allow comments? i've not used them that much)

you can judge things, sure. the inability to improve things doesn't really fly with stuff like the AUR since it's open to virtually anybody

how many Coprs aren't maintained nowadays? a lot as well
So? Copr lists explicit compatibility versions of software.

And software that is not supported either has made its way into the central repos, rpmfusion or is apparently not worth it to enough people to justify it.

Arch's guides help you to getting the software installed and working, whether it's in the repos or in the AUR isn't relevant for the guides

So? Copr lists explicit compatibility versions of software.
that's not possible to achieve with Arch because it's rolling

And in Fedora you have a hell of a time doing so because countless security measures exist against random software looking at and sending all your screen content away as a service.

Especially teamviewer.
