Incorporating Django-CMS with an existing Django project doesn't seem to be straight forward. At least. It doesn't look like it was designed to be used that way.. Any ideas guys?

hi. Who use django + vue + ssr? its possible?
Rammanoj
how to acces the model if the model name is stored in a variable ?
rahidul
I want to internship with django any opportunity??
Eric
You do from django.apps import apps and then in your view or your function, you do apps.get_model(app_label=<name_of_app>, model_name=<model_name>)
Eric
That gives you an object (lets say you assign the name dynamic_model to it) that you can do things like dynamic_model.objects.filter() etc
F.
It's designed to work on an existing project as well
Can you link me to a tutorial or documentation of the process?

Wow.... This is discouragungly long and too uncertain to convince anyone to dive into. The obvious here is that django-cms doesn't really intend to be used this way. In a way this explains why it is very unpopular.
F.
After reading what seemed to be like a tutorial to the people that developed the cms thing, I'm now asking myself the questions: What the fuck is django-cms? What does it do? What can it do? What can't it do? Is it neccesary? Are there better, more user friendly alternatives? I've been working on a blog for almost 6 months now. I just wanna know if I should throw this CMS thing to the bin now and forever. Besides, do good developers even need to use this thing?
F.
hmmmm.... I hate reading developer documentation well cuz.... They write like they're talking to their course mates at MIT or Google. It's so bloody unattractive. The only reason why django is popular is because there's an [almost] endless amount of resources, blogs, youtube videos, etc about it and different topics. I don't see anything remotely close to that with django-cms. I will do my best with it but If it's giving me tougher time than understanding why people code in java, it's not worth studying. If someone knows another source of direction that's not written by some established MIT proffessor or another of the guys that developed django-cms, please direct me. The last say, two or 3 documentations I've read are pretty awful. Django and PIL.
