In ethernet is around 5-6 mbps. My usual speeds are 60mpbs on wifi, 100+ on ethernet. And i am talking about what download counter shows

Test speed you should use iperf3

sorry for the confusion, but by "boot splash" I thought that you were talking about the freebsd logo after the boot menu that shows after the boot messages are silenced in the configs files

Why dont you checm the manpage? Usually you must try first to loadit and check if it s in modules. It s already builtin in your kernel, and also now freebsd supports autoinstallation of wifi drivers
