Same django/node Vs asp.net/spring Django and node.js are perfect for web applications, huge ones too while Microsoft and oracle offer LTS so you can use now asp.net mvc 3 and still get the security enhancements which is noice for enterprises (13 the reason why C#/java are preferable for enterprises)

You can use any JS front end lib/framework with django, but probably you will need to do some configuration to make JS work with django templates. Or you can can ignore django templates and let your JS front end communicate with django backend via REST API
