Russell

correctmaninwrongplace
C++ is Turing complete.
Comway's game of life is capable of universal computation

How is that relevant
correctmaninwrongplace
Just curiosity

All I meant was: asking if C++ has lists is pretty stupid, sorry

nope, visual studio is another software too
Visual Studio != Visual Studio Code. Having a different license doesn't mean the software isn't the same.
Anonymous
You don't really need to download the source code from the GitHub repo and build it yourself
Anonymous
What I mean is: they both do the same thing. Visual Studio (the IDE) is something else.
Anonymous
Entirely
Palinuro
Anonymous
visual studio != visual studio code != vscode read the official faq
"VS Code" is used as an abbreviation for "Visual Studio Code". "vscode" is the repo, yes. But there isn't any big difference between them. They build it from the repo.
Anonymous
Honestly, I would not say they are different products. (IMO they aren't)
Anonymous
But it seems like I misunderstood you from the beginning
Anonymous
I thought you were saying "Visual Studio Code is not VS Code"
Anonymous
My apologies :)

VS Code as in the abbreviation for it.
Palinuro
I thought you were saying "Visual Studio Code is not VS Code"
this is exactly what i said because of what microsoft wrote on the official visual studio code website to state that vscode and visual studio code are the same software, is like saying that chrome and chromium are the same browser
Anonymous
You were talking about the repo
Anonymous
Anyways, whatever
Palinuro
VS Code as in the abbreviation for it.
nope, read the FAQ and the message linked in the FAQ i have posted here the linka where this difference is clarified and i have also given you the screenshots in case you are too lazy to open the links, now go read it
