I am looking at it...
ok when you do finish looking at it you can see that interrupts for protocols like this are very bad and there are typically no microcontrollers that implement buffers for this
Talula
I have mostly used common protocols not SENT...
Talula
You mean like SENT is used with DHT sensors?
Talula
Just asking.
Talula
Single Wire Communication?
Anonymous
You mean like SENT is used with DHT sensors?
i used it mostly with Hall effects but other things also use SENT
Talula
Oh okay... yeah I call it Single Wire Communication sorry.
Anonymous
i know some ultrasounds that use SENT
Anonymous
mr rob you know about plc programming
Anonymous
and using capacitors for this is much more complex
Talula
Ultrasonic sensors?
Anonymous
mr rob you know about plc programming
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO
Anonymous
i know it but i had enough of it this past week
Anonymous
had to program an elevator to use CIP in mostly ladder logic

Talula
Ok I got you now... yeah for those you're right we have to use jumping... but microcontroller has to be fast.
Anonymous
Siemens is main put is not basic in linux
Anonymous
it literally can be 100 Mhz and that is fast enough
Anonymous
i got similar projects working using only a 15 MHz crystal
Anonymous
do you know others language

i know a bunch of programming langauges

of plc
Talula
But I do it like this... when I get any kind of message that I was suppose to get ... normally we don't use can but I2C or SPI... just after that call SENT... go do something else and when I get interrupt from SENT (or single wire) I go to it and get information...
Talula
Request it when you least expect other calls... but I like your idea...
Talula
Maybe I'll try it.

of plc
had to work with a bunch rockwell/allen-bradley was my favorite ones
Anonymous
especially if you want any chance of talking with PLCs around you
Anonymous
yes plzz
Talula
you do use CAN quite a lot in automation
PLC we normally communicate with are either using MODBUS over RTU or Profibus...
Talula
Never had an encounter with CAN, we had one device that is called a weft warper for textile we used CAN there.
Anonymous
my experience with PLC was always using CAN or CIP
Anonymous
ok thank you nice to meet you

Sorry about getting all angry on you Rob... you're a nice person...

Stop with this shit, get your life together, you're a C++ programmer, which implies that you're smart, you can do it, my dude. Also this is not a group for psychological support, if you're crawing for the rope get professional help
Dima
Lol this guy is just a troll

Otherwise
Dima
Poor guy

Can’t help
Vyacheslav
what??? i'm not a troll. i would gladly be a happy troll though

Easy method of learning c++
Dima
There’s no
Dima
Easy method
Dima
But
Vyacheslav
Easy method of learning c++
1) what do you want to learn C++ for? what kind of apps? 2) you learn by doing - there's no shortcut, no way around this
Vyacheslav
and you must read a lot of other smart ppl's source codes
