1. Microsoft bought nokia 2. Microsoft abandoned all nokia's project (maemo, MeeGo) and only tried to force Windows OS under Nokia's brand 3. Windows OS was a fuckin disaster and sucked as everyone know 4. End of Nokia's mobile phone development. RIP Maemo/MeeGo which would've succeeded. I personally used Nokia N9 with MeeGo on it, and it was superb. The interface and gestures made it so intuitive and natural feeling, oh lord if they just would've dumped that shitty windows phone OS instead...

Windows Phone is awesome they got all facial thing back 2015 ut some things wont succeed sometime, My lumia 950 XL have best camera than My Presnt Iphone 8 plus.. Microsoft under new CEO things will be different

But I understand that, unfortunately, I won`t be able to create anything new and progressive by using only JS. For something more I must use C++ as the more fundamental language. So I put my questions. Is C++ really worth to learn nowdays? Could you advise me a good strategy of learning C++ that won`t take years to get the first job as C++ programmer? Thank you in advance!

C and C++ are obv worth learning for their low level design and high performances. But it's useless to learn things like QT or GTK since the main purpose of c++ is the core of a library, the high performance part. Is more useful to learn how to print a line in c++ that learning how to use a c++ framework that print lines. So you have to learn pointers, reference, casts, how memory is managed and how to make it communicate with other languages

C++ is in top 3 of the most popular programming languages. Of course it's worth learning it. if you have a CS you must have studied at least several languages. When you know basic concepts it shouldn't be too hard to pick up C++
