Yes I selected Debug option, and I didn't tried other options.

I'm trying all of boot options now. Strange. Sometimes this build boots up well with non-debug and debug option, sometimes it doesn't.

fonts tend to be large, but I wonder if including Unifont is reasonable at least as fallbacks. Then at least all CJK text would be rendered out of the box.

Very few discs (a few dozen unique articles?) have ever been produced that would have Rock Ridge but not Joilet.

it's really easy to trivial to make discs with Rock Ridge but not Joliet, since that tends to be the default with iso9660 creation programs on Unix :p
