Does ROS integrate all of wine or just bits and pieces? Anyone know?

Bits'n'pieces only, rest is reverse engineered/blackbox tested and send to the wine dev team IIRC

They cooperate Where they can. Wine can rely on unix system calls, while reactos must provide windows-compatible support for system calls

So, they can cooperate on higher levels but can't on lower. It's a technical problem, not a relationship issue

I remember reading a lot about ReactOS on mails from Niall Douglas when he was implementing AFIO for Boost. IIRC, lots of questions he had about API were answered by tests and source code from ReactOS (and other approaches).
