Please vote for this issue: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=669501 It's about JPEG encoding. There are 2 kinds of encoding: ariphmetical method and Huffman's codes. The first one was patented and these patents has been already expired 5 years ago and this method is more efficient than Huffman's codes, but there are no software support. This ticket is about to implement this kind of encoding in Chrome. If only the huge company, like Google or Apple, will support its, then it will reduce all JPEG files's size on 10-20 per cent without losing quality

yes, i really liked it too. btw, being able to run major professional software (office, photoshop, autocad) would allow a lot more users to at least try reactos. it will take a long time, yes, but even just word is a good start. word + firefox + 7zip fits well with some small offices.

i don't know what we need, i think there's a tradeoff between stability and implementing functions and that our developers are trying to balance the two things. i'm pretty sure that we have speed, and hope someone start benchmarking reactos vs xp. btw, i really like how developers try to explain us what happens in the internals, and i really hope to see similar articles soon.
