so you have launched TLauncher on FreeBSD before, nuh ?
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
How can I find it on the pkg search? Just by TLauncher?
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
Oh I see, alright. Being Java it should be a workaround to make it work in FreeBSD. The easiest solution is to install compat-linux in FreeBSD and running the file from there. I guess what's happening is a matter of directories and files location
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
Take a look at this https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/linuxemu/
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
Indeed

FreeBSD - Linux Binary Compatibility FreeBSD provides binary compatibility with Linux, allowing users to install and run most Linux binaries on a FreeBSD system without having to first modify the binary. It has even been reported that, in some situations, Linux binaries perform better on FreeBSD than they do on Linux. In this video, Marko Tasic gives us a clean practical introduction to the topic. More info about Linux binary compatibility: https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/linuxemu/ Marko Tasic channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq-PF3nIPg5KO8po0dHcXsQ

I already enabled Linux.

and I'm downloading openjdk rpm package for test

ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
failed.
Linux binaries can be examined to tell which libraries they need. Then it's a matter of adding them to the compat/libs directory, but in order to do that, you first need a Linux machine that gives you that info. You can try $ ldd on /path/to/lib.so I had to repeat steps from the handbook a couple of times in order to boot compat correctly.
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
As you can see I had to install almost every linux-c7 package to get a Qt application working

𝚂𝚑𝚊𝚢𝚊𝚗
I understand you btw.
ɴꙩᴍᴀᴅ
how about running .jar file from /compat/linux chroot ?
If it mets the java libraries it may worl I guess. Tbh I never dealt with Java. Another option could be using a virtual machine. OpenVM is available as a pkg iirc.
