Cons: - had to pay for Colemak keyboard (and it is so bad i can't use it) - no more silent switch, typing is loud - Removed all built in apps, no way to hide them like on iOS - new apps for some reasons get to the new screen - no way to easily enter backtick on screen keyboard - onscreen keyboard is almost impossible to use in any pro setup - colemak on external keyboard works well - IPad with fintie keyboard case is very clumsy - Funtie keyboard has a slot for Apple Pencil that I have no intention on using - Apple magic keyboard for iPads is a fail: only one comfortable position for screen, not detachable, very heavy, very small touchpad, at this price point just buy a Mack book, for some reason typing feels very unnatural? Closeness to screen? Weird keys positions? Not sure - Folio keyboard is plain unusable: you can’t comfortably hold it on laps, keep switching the language with the bottom left button, keys are very unpleasant, no clicks, space is heavy (way heavier than other keys for some reason), typing is physically difficult - So far cheap amazon keyboard without a touch pad is the best, but still only two angles and can’t seamlessly fold, have to unplug it, could really benefit from magnets in the cover for two screen angle positions, the most comfortable to type on laps - Actually the cheap keyboard has 4 positions - Night shift is not enough, flux on Mac is way better - Multitasking is pretty much broken, just two apps at a time with no real way to keep for instance terminal running in the back - Non-apple keyboards don’t put screen to sleep - Two separate devices to charge: keyboard and iPad - iPad becomes really fingerprinty after a while - screen is too flaky, shakes a lot on laps - Sometimes I really don’t need to capitalize first letter but ipad makes me, have to open on screen keyboard which makes it a real hassle - I couldn’t find a way to turn off all sounds on iPad, seems like I always have a keyboard sound or telegram notification sound or something else - Termius as a terminal is great but when it goes into background it does not keep the connection open - Impossible to copy from VSC integrated terminal - No touchpad on fintie keyboard - No easy way to use iPad in most comfortable third position on fintie on laps - For some reason switching between windows with four fingers is undetermenistic (cannot swipe back and forth) - pasting into terminal is terrible - GitHub app is terrible and when used in safari there is no way to get rid of annoying banner on top asking to install GH app - No way to gesture into all apps view from homescreen (but there is a button for that on keyboard, the home button) - git sync button doesn’t work in VSC for some reason - VSC becomes unresponsive when brought back from the background sometimes, having to relaunch it - VSC errors and warnings are impossible to hover over - Impossible to use with colemak, cmd+s just doesn’t work, but cmd+s in qwerty reloads the page - Backspace in VSC simply stopped working - VSC for some reason doesn’t save new shortcuts - Had to edit shortcuts file manually - no internet, no work - No hover type hints - VSC click on file path in terminal does nothing, pretty bad for linter errors - Sometimes code-server just take ages to initialize or just makes me reload the server altogether - Sometimes fintie keyboard in VSC just stops working or some keys just stop working - Magic Trackpad does not select text the way it’s supposed to - No way to play rich media file (e.g. audio) that got downloaded by a script — no access to file system - Animations, animations, animations, I hate how much time is spoiled on them Pros: - lightweight - finally a way to remove emoji keyboard - Setup with external keyboard is pretty cool and likeable - fintie keyboard is pretty light and detachable which is nice - It’s pretty much Mac OS with all the existing shortcuts like cmd+tab and others, so if you don’t want to use fingers to switch between apps, you don’t have to - Unless you carry the keyboard and the case, you’re good, does not feel half bad

- Full keyboard access can be helpful if you want to use just the keyboard to control iPad. However, gestures have to be learnt and why bother with touchable ipad then anyway? - Screen is pretty good but I can’t notice the difference with a usual retina, especially in night shift - detachable keyboard can be more comfortable than simply holding everything on the laps

А почему клава не magic keyboard с тачпадом? Для эйра же вроде подходит.
